Where can I find an SDS?You will find an SDS (Safety Data Sheet) for each product on their individual product page under the Product Description section.

What is dwell time?Dwell time is the amount of time that a surface should remain wet and in contact with the cleaning solution. Because of the unique way in which EcoGen products clean, increased dwell time will aid in the cleaning process, especially for difficult soils.

What ingredients are in the products?EcoGen cleaning products contain varying combinations of plant extracts, surfactants, sequestrants, hyper-wetting agents and water.

Do I need PPE (personal protective equipment) when using EcoGen products?EcoGen cleaning products are safe to use and do not require PPE, however, as with all products, prudence in handling is recommended.

What does colloid mean?A colloid is a solution that has particles ranging between 1 and 1000 nanometers in diameter, yet are still able to remain evenly distributed throughout the solution. These are also known as colloidal dispersions because the substances remain dispersed and do not settle.

What are micelles?Micelles are lipid molecules that arrange themselves in spherical form in aqueous solutions. The formation of a micelle is a response to the amphipathic nature of fatty acids, meaning that they contain both hydrophilic regions (polar head groups) as well as hydrophobic regions (the long hydrophobic chain).
